Having meals at any restaurant has always been a challenge for couples who have toddlers. I have seen my elder brother and his wife facing the same challenge. This is because many restaurants do not have menu specifically designed for kids, and parents have to order a separate meal that has a portion-size designed for adults, which is usually wasted by the kids and who can blame them? These little ones have small tummies. No?

However, McDonald’s noticed this problem in June of 1979, and came up with a solution which is widely known as McDonald’s Happy Meal Menu. Yes, I am talking about a meal which has a special place in its consumers’ hearts and has been making childhood memorable for many generations. 

Happy Meal McDo menu consists of a standard menu but in small size and a random toy for your kids in it. This approach of giving toys and books to kids with their meal in a special red box which is specifically designed for them has made even kids to say mom and dad, I’M LOVIN IT!

McDonald’s changes the toys and books that are available for kids in their Happy Meal Boxes every month. However, from 13th of July to 01st of August 2024, you can get 12 different exciting toys and 01 book from McDonald’s . These toys are from McDonald’s collaboration with the Despicable Me series on the launch of Despicable Me 4. If your children are a fan of the DM series then these toys would be a great for them!

The concept of this collaboration is to bring the Despicable Me memories back. Kids can also mix and match their toys with their friends by simply interchanging their toy’s head with another minion toy. Each toy comes with a mission card as well, kids can scan that card on McDonald’s website a play the game.

Fun Fact: The first ever set of toys included in McDonald’s Happy Meals were tops, stencils, wallets, puzzles and erasers.
